Rachael Pierce

Hi! My name is Rachael Pierce, I am originally from Texas, but moved to Tennessee in high school, and have been around the area ever since. I received my Bachelors in Communication Disorders from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky and completed my Masters in Speech-Language Pathology at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. In 2024, I received my Natural Language Acquisition Clinician certificate. 

Being a pediatric speech therapist is one of my favorite things. I love getting to know the kids, their families, and working together towards goals and celebrating those milestones! I use a child-led approach, so getting to see kids learn through play is one of the most beautiful and amazing processes to watch and be a part of. I am so grateful that it is part of my job and something I get to do everyday! I also have a special interest area in lactation and feeding therapy; getting to help families feed and nurture their babies and children is such a gift.

In my free time I enjoy reading, spending time with my husband, son, and daughter, cooking, and doing anything outdoorsy (hiking, camping, trail walks, etc.)
